The Evening

They say your school years are the best years of your life, which, if you think about it properly, is pretty depressing. Thankfully most of us have a pretty rosy memory of our school days: duffel coats, kiss chase, conkers and summer holidays that went on forever. Not to mention rushing home for Jossy's Giants or Ulysses 31. Unfortunately while we can't recreate everything that was cool about school, we can promise that we won't make you play outside if it's cold, and we certainly won't ask you to raise your hand when you need to go to the toilet.

So bask in the warm glow of nostalgia as our multimedia quiz brings you pictures, clips and sounds from back in the (school) day. Attention at the back!

The Quiz

The quiz itself starts at 8pm and lasts for just over two hours. It is divided into two parts, with a half-hour interval in the middle. There's also a break at the end while we mark your efforts and tally up the final scores to find out who will take the Top of the Class title.

Each part is divided into a number of rounds, each with a different topic. Most of these mirror your normal school subjects, such as Science, Music, Geography, History, Art, English... but there are a few extras thrown in like Mornng Assembly (current affairs and celeb gossip), After-School TV and School Disco.

The team that comes top wins themselves a bottle of (real!) champagne to celebrate and an envelope stuffed with vouchers for drinks, food and VIP tickets to any of the trendy events at The Old Queen's Head... but most importantly, they take possession of the coveted Top of the Class trophy.
